Academy VC offers a training experience that is unmatched in our industry. Our group of experienced professionals are actively engaged with projects that demand advanced knowledge, skill and abilities in the work at height industry. Each of our instructors have participated in many years of teaching and adult education. We have members who work with standards making organizations and equipment manufacturers to move the work at height industry forward. These assets are coupled with experience in many trades to include construction, fabrication, electrical, structural inspection, concrete and telecommunications. Many of us currently serve in public safety, fire, police, military, EMS and rescue organizations. We are passionate about training, and we have a strong focus on hands-on practice. If you're looking for a handout certification, there are plenty of organizations out there who are happy to take your money. But if you are in search of demanding training that is real world, progressive approach to specialized rescue and work at height, you're in the right place!

Programs and Training Opportunities 

Rope Access

Academy VC specializes in real world, needs based rope access training. Students develop an understanding of the efficient techniques for safety, work, and rescue in the work at height environment.

Confined Space

Academy VC provides training to ensure individuals have the skills and confidence needed when working in these potentially hazardous environments. 

Controlled Descent (RDS)

Academy VC offers industry specific RDS training classes. Our course was developed to provide realistic controlled decent training to individuals that need basic, safe, and efficient skills to access buildings and other structures. 

Competent Climber 

Transforming the world of competent climber training, Academy VC presents realistic training opportunities that promote enhanced learning for the most intense real world situations. 

Fall Protection

Academy VC provides students with a broad range of equipment and training to simulate a variety of work at height environments to ensure graduates are prepared for any situation presented in the workforce.

Unless specifically identified in the calendar information section, each course will be held at our indoor, climate controlled, training facility. We are located minutes from the Chattanooga TN Airport.  More details can be found by clicking on the course(s) listed on the calendar below.
